Emmy Award winner Holland Taylor steps into former Texas governor Ann Richards’ shoes as her self-penned, one-woman play Ann opens on Broadway on March 7. Directed by Benjamin Endsley Klein, the production plays Lincoln Center’s Vivian Beaumont Theatre.
Neither political nor a history lesson, Taylor’s solo show brings the audience face to face with the inspiring and charismatic Ann Richards, whose complex and colorful personality was said to be bigger than the state from which she hailed.
Ann features set design by Michael Fagin, costume design by Julie Weiss, lighting design by Matthew Richards, sound design by Ken Huncovsky and projection design by Zachary Borovay.
